This year’s theme is “Tugon sa Hamon ng Lipat Aral.” Brigada Eskwela (BE) is tantamount to bayanihan to serve neighbours with gladness, unity and cooperation.
The Rotary Club of Metro Novaliches Caloocan (RCMNC) together with service partners, the newly chartered Rotaract Club of Metro Novaliches Caloocan Stellar (RacMNCS) and the to-be reinstated Interact of Talipapa High School participated in the aforementioned BE.

With that, with IAT President Rollz at the helm of RCMNC implemented various BE projects.
On 2 August 2002, RCMNC distributed the following items to Talipapa High School: 13 boxes of face mask, 7 gallons of alcohol, sets of cleaning materials, and 70 liters of water containers. The school coordinator assigned one room for RacMNCS and RCMNC to clean.

After 3 days, Jose Abad Santos High School (JASHS) – alma mater of Pres. Rollz Elan Maningas – invited him to be a guest speaker as an alumnus and as a president of a Rotary club who exhibited leadership prowess. Pres. Rollz tackled “Parenting and Parents: How to fight COVID-19 and to cope with anxiety.” Attending said talk were the parents and guardians of Grade 10 students. He emphasized that guidance of the students start at home and teachers are also there to assist to provide advice especially during pandemic. Since f2f classes will start on August 22, he told parents to provide essential needs of their children, especially their food nourishment. He also reminded parents that they are foremost in-charge of rearing and nurturing their children.

"Hulagpos" JASHS Batch ‘91 with RCMNC sponsored 8 scholars from Grade 9 by giving them a monthly allowance of 300 pesos. Pres. Rollz also sponsored 2 young women to pursue their education and to assist them in alleviating poverty. Not only bright students were beneficiaries of the scholarship as they only sponsored students from the lower sections.

As an academician, mentor and professor, he shared his valuable time to teach Grade 10 students struggling in mathematics and reading comprehension. It is just like a “bridge” program to prepare themselves for this upcoming class.

3 units of water purifier were also donated which would provide potable water for drinking to thousands of beneficiaries within the school. With the potable water, it would help fighting amoebiasis and other diseases. To have clean water is to have a better life.

The RCMNC and RacMNCS donated cash for the BE in Bagong Silang High School as one of the consistent winners in the mega category. According to the coordinator, the said cash donation will be used for the tiles of “Walk of Wisdom.” The different sponsors will be given 2 meters. It was a great initiative of the principal.
