"Think of your future for your parents will not be there forever. It is important that earning becomes your habit."

Thus emphasized by the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North's (RCMN) treasurer and lead proponent Rtn. Maria Soccoro G. Jimenez during the conduct of the club's Project titled Tulong Pangkabuhayan: Livelihood Skills and Entrepreneurship Program for Parent and Batang Andres held on October 22, 2022 at Andres Bonifacio Integrated School Senior High School (ABIS-SHS) department.

Futher, The RCMN treasurer motivated the 12 Batang Andres beneficiaries of the project together with their parents to persevere rather than depend on anyone.

Accordingly, the livelihood project aims to inspire the participants not to be afraid to start a small business as stated too by Rtn. Jimenez.

The livelihood project graced by the certified TESDA trainer Jeddhalyn C. Gelera as the guest demonstrator lasted for four hours of assisted cooing.

Gelera aided the Batang Andres and parents on how to cook the following: siopao, siomai, and empanada.

Meanwhile, the conduct of the project was attended by members of the RCMN club other than the Rotarian-teachers Clarissa P. Tibar, program moderator; Rosalyn Manlangit, RCMN secretary; and Analyn C. So, co-project proponent.

The following participated in the endeavor: Annabelle G. Cazin, past president and public image chairwoman; Rtn. Anselma M. Almarez; Rtn. Marilou T. Gabriel; and PP Ricardo Z. Santos, past president and TRF director.

Moreover, Technology and Livelihood Education teachers from ABIS-SHS and JHS departments also involved and assisted the RCMN during the project run.

The project concluded with the participants receiving gift tokens from the RCMN which consisted of cooking apron, hairnet, siomai wrapper, flour and steamer.
