The Rotary Club of San Mateo Highlands provided medical support to a child who is a known case of Imperforate Anus.
This service project dubbed as “GIVING HOPE FOR A BETTER LIFE” is the Rotary Club of San Mateo Highlands' response to the call for help for a child with a medical condition. This project plays a vital role to support children with specific healthcare needs, promote their well-being, empower them through medical aids and ensure their access to essential resources to manage their conditions. Also, the project contributed to improve the quality of life, reduce financial barrier, empower a girl in times of challenges, and provide essential support for the medical supplies needed for her health and daily living.
The Club provided cash donations, medical supplies (e.g Colostomy bags, gloves, tapes), and a supplies of vitamin supplements for her everyday medical needs.
The Club continues to monitor and help this child.
